General Surgery involves the acute and elective treatment of surgical illnesses which involve organs in the abdomen,  rectum, extremities and skin, These include emergency treatment for life threatening infections such as appendicitis, diverticulitis, cholecystitis, and necrotizing infections of the skin. Dr. Shirazi is active as part of the Huntington Hospital Surgical Staff and routinely admits people to the hospital when they present with emergency surgical illnesses This allows her to retain her broad surgical expertise which she uses to serve the military populations in both California and in the rest of the nation. She enjoys the privilege of serving patients from all walks of life, and treats everyone with equal compassion and precision surgical care.
